This year, we are fortunate to have Roslyn Rogers as the keynote speaker for our 9th Annual Women’s Health Fair.  She will speak on Friday evening, October 28, from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Nature’s Pantry.  Her topic will be “Balancing Hormones Naturally,” part 1, a topic that touches almost everyone in one way or another. ABOUT THE SPEAKERS

Roslyn Rogers, CNC, BCIM

“Of all the machinery known to man, the most miraculous is the human body. If you balance your hormones, remove the foods that you are allergic to, eat wholesome food, supplement with vitamins and minerals, and cleanse regularly, the body will automatically heal itself.” The preceding quote reflects the lifelong philosophy of Roslyn Rogers, clinical nutritionist, educator, and health practitioner. Roslyn gives hope to women (and men) searching for ways to avoid the decline in health that often comes with age.

A popular speaker, Roslyn has spent over 10 years traveling throughout the United States lecturing and giving seminars about women’s health issues, including balancing women’s hormones and pushing back the clock of aging, naturally.  Roslyn is knowledgeable in a wide variety of health topics, including menopause, PMS, anti-aging, weight management, bone health, energy, healthy skin and dietary supplements.

Ann Webb developed a passion for skin care at a young age when she faced her own struggles with severe cystic acne.  She grew up in the small town of Gueydan, LA with limited resources for treating her skin.  Undaunted, Ann traveled to nearby cities and began an exhaustive search for skin treatments.  This search led to a career in medical esthetics and eventually to the creation of skin care products for various doctors.  Ann also developed her own specialized hands-on protocols that brought about a change in many people’s skin.  In 2005, Ann created her very own skin care line to use on a small base of clients whom she treated out of her home.  Soon the local community began to take notice.  In 2006, Ann’s life became a whirlwind when she was approached with the opportunity to bring her new skin care line into a national chain of health stores.  At the same time her 2 year old son was diagnosed with leukemia.  In order to conquer both of these challenges, Ann turned to her life-long best friend, Joanna Marceaux, who specialized in growing small businesses.  Together they formed a dual mission.  The first was to create the cleanest, most effective skin care line in the natural products industry.  The second was to open a skin care clinic in Austin, Texas where they would treat people based on need, regardless of their ability to pay.

From this mission, Ann and Joanna grew a successful wellness center where over 3,000 people now clinically test new and existing product formulations.  The Skin By Ann Webb product line is currently available in over 1,500 stores (including Nature’s Pantry, see ad page 18) and spas throughout the nation.  Ann attributes this success to having her best friend as a strong, dynamic partner who knew her struggles better than anyone else, and to the idea that natural skin care products with pharmaceutical-grade ingredients could bring about a positive change in everyone’s skin.
